We have pioneered a bespoke B2B and B2C internet portal which is set to revolutionise the way the courier and logistics industry works for good. The concept itself has already been proven within the industry on a much smaller scale via B2B trading. With this understanding we aim to open the boundaries to B2C trading whilst safeguarding the interests of B2B trading. As business objectives, we plan to become the breathing heartbeat of the courier industry by listening to our customers, developing our system around their needs and providing a fair, cost-effective and efficient portal for all.
Our carbon friendly approach to the logistics industry, along with our intelligent application and real-time bidding application, will ensure a level playing field for couriers and businesses across the UK along with aiding start-up companies with a business in a box solution to reduce their risk of liquidation. Leveraging competition amongst couriers, our portal will save businesses up to 75% of the average quotation that they would receive calling a courier directly.
It is our main objective to capitalise on the market gaps that have been spotted after use of our competitor’s website for over 3 years. Through use of this system, we have generated a database of over 3000 couriers that are already using this model as their day to day operations providing us with a massive opportunity to promptly capture the market. By leveraging upon the gaps found and through our market research, we have evolved what is already present and can offer a wider range of services for a much cheaper price.
Our longer term plan is to licence the platform to individuals by franchising (country by country) along with reproducing the portal for other industry verticals such as the IT industry. Apart from the upfront and on-going revenues of using the portal, further commercialisation will come from advertisement, franchise fees, referral fees and training services.
We are looking for £100,000 as seed capital for portal development, a responsive mobile application, and an aggressive pre-launch marketing campaign. We are not just looking for a bank roller but for an angel investor that can add value to our business operations. Based on our projections, Angel Investors will see a ROI in year 1 of above 41% and a cash flow positive business by month 4. |
