A British Independant Feature Film
|
|
|
We are developing a feature film, shooting in September 2012. It will be directed by award-winning filmmaker Phil Hawkins, whom Steven Spielberg described as "one of the best new and upcoming directors".
It’s a low budget indie thriller financed entirely by private and Angel Investors. The structure of the project is small, smart and flexible, with no funding bodies, banks or other complex funding to repay.
It will be driven by strong performances, a gripping story, realistic action and powerful visuals. Some have read the script and compared it to the recent US-indie hit "Drive". Although we appreciate the comparison, we feel that our feature film is something entirely unique.
We’ve set a maximum budget limit of £500,000 inclusive of post-production and deliverables. We believe this is the intelligent way to make profit from film in this difficult economic climate.
At this budget level, even with moderate domestic success, the film will still deliver a strong return. A big success and international release would deliver exponentially.
As a result of a number of recent successes, there is an increasing demand from distributors for films made in the £500,000 or less bracket.
These films, when well made, are very attractive propositions. |
