Invest in New National Screening Programme
|
|
|
Due to both Political and Clinical pressure - A new GP guideline is to be introduced in 2012 that will encourage the mass screening of high risk professional drivers for sleep conditions within the UK.
This programme will initially include haulage drivers, bus drivers, taxi drivers and anyone else who completes a D4 medical examination to drive. The programme has the potential to extend to the emergency services, company representatives, rail, commercial air and the Armed services.
The Angel Investment sought would be required to secure a pre-existing sole trader contract by means of purchasing a diagnostic inventory and to market the service nationally.
It would be possible to offer a direct service to the client i.e PCT/GP centres/haulage companies, sell them the equipment to run their own service (thus introducing both capital and consumable sales) or offer a franchise based on the same principle.
Possible partners or host sites include UK GP centres, Private Medical Centres, Health Clubs, Dentists, Chemists and even Supermarkets. A direct market with UK Haulage companies is also possible.
The service protocol would be underwritten by leading Sleep consultants and Somnologists and has a referral process that re-introduces the patient into the NHS system should the results require further analysis or treatment.
Angel Investors can expect a 30% ROI. |
