Seeking investment for Jatropha Biofuel
|
|
|
In this era of rising fuel costs and depleting resources, industries globally are striving to use cleaner renewable sources of energy. By 2030, the biofuel industry is set to be worth over $280 billion.
Jatropha has been identified as the leading candidate for large scale biofuel production. It can grow on poor quality soils, produce higher yields and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Angel Investors have the potential to receive an annual income from the profit on the Crude Jatropha Oil produced from the trees on their area of our plantation. Investors may choose to sell on at any time should they wish to realise their capital. Once fully planted, our 2,700 hectare plantation will contain 5.75 million Jatropha trees (2,500 per hectare). Divided into individual hectares, investors own a sublease providing a tangible asset.
Once yields are processed, angel investors are advised on how much oil has been produced and our plantation management company arranges the sale of the Crude Jatropha Oil produced on behalf of each investor. Our plantation management company have managed more than 100,000 hectares worldwide.
Research and development is provided by the Russian Academy of Sciences. With superior irrigation and fertilisation techniques, our scientific team have taken every step to maximise our yields.
We have already pre-sold the first 500,000 litres of crude Jatropha Oil to a major Australian commodities company for $152 per barrel.
The Jatropha Plantation is located in Togo, approximately 50 miles from the capital Lomé. Togo is an independent republic and politically stable with presidential elections held every 5 years. In March 2010, President Faure Gnassingbé was re-elected for a second term. Current Prime Minister Gilbert Houngbo was previously appointed Chief of Staff to Kofi Annan at the United Nations and was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Arizona before returning to govern Togo in 2008.
Our Jatropha plantation has Government flagship status approval and operates within the Free Trade Zone.
The Greenleaf Global Jatropha Plantation aims to raise living standards for the local population. In partnership with local communities, we have constructed schools and provided local villages with access to clean running water.
Approximately 600 local workers are employed on the plantation and are paid a wage 30% higher than the national average with private healthcare cover also provided. |
