An investment fund of £1m to invest in early stage Indian companies, looking for investment to grow and expand. Investments will be made directly into Indian companies and into micro-finance funds, themselves dealing with smaller Indian enterprises.

The plan is to invest an average of £40,000 in around 25 companies and micro-finance funds, and to take a positive role in helping them to expand.

The Fund will be run by a successful UK entrepreneur, based in Mumbai.
