This Venture Capitalist started his career in the Financial Services Industry in 1999 broking FTSE Index options on behalf of large institutional and hedge fund clients.

Successful and productive relationships were built with some of the largest investment banks, such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan.

Whilst spending much time working within many well known broking houses including GH Financials, and the London Capital Group, this VC utilised his expertise in helping train, develop and establish many strong broking and trading teams within the financial sector.

In 2006, this VC became the managing director of a firm that dealt with commercial foreign currency brokerage on behalf of corporate, institutional and high net worth clients.

Having built and developed a team of high performing brokers and dealers with a strong product and service base this firm handles circa £20m per annum in currency transactions and is registered with the FSA, HMRC and UKMTA.

Early 2010 saw this VC’s expansion into other markets with the architecture and development of Pan Energy Markets, a propriety trading house active within the green energy, metals and gas markets.

After building up a talented trading team whilst performing daily operational and management functions, this Investor headed Pan Energy Markets which in it's first year of trading turned over in excess of €150m. By then end of year three turnover had reached approximately €500m.

This firm was awarded the coveted and well regarded Chambers of commerce award for most promising new company.
