What is your background as an Angel Investor?
My Family’s business has historically been in real estate development and as of today we own a portfolio of assets in Italy (with a mixture of residential, offices and retail) as well as a 4 star hotel in Rome.
From a professional perspective, I have been working for a few years with Morgan Stanley, in their Real Estate Investment Banking team as well as for their Private Equity Investment Arm. Following that I have moved on to a financial boutique whose mandate was that of managing large estates and portfolios on behalf of Ultra High Net worth individuals. We would manage their real estate holdings as well as their interests in mining, infrastructure, logistics and transportation.
I have extensive experience in these industries especially in emerging markets.
What type of Angel investments are you looking for on Venture Giant?
A pocket of my liquidity will also be devoted to Venture capital funding and Angel funding in a number of sectors that I have had experience in.
What type of role would you like to play in an entrepreneur’s business as an Angel Investor?
I am looking to be an active angel investor within each investment I make and can contribute my knowledge of financial markets and international capitals to further the growth of small companies to the next level.
Have you made any business angel investments in the past?
Currently I am in the process of setting my own group of companies, which will be comprised of a Real estate venture (currently setting up a UK residential property Fund) as well as a branch that will deal with alternative Investments (I should be closing over the next two weeks investments in Biodiesel projects and carbon credit - reforestation project)
