What is your experience level as an Angel investor?
I am 54 years old and recently successfully sold my furniture hire business which I started from scratch in 1990 during this time I developed the company to become one of largest and best known suppliers to the events industry supplying most of the major events in the UK, including Wimbledon, Ascot, the Artois, the Open Golf etc, many weddings and parties.
During this period I also acquired, developed and sold on a specialist access company, I am a non executive director of retail and web ladies fashion company.
During the 70s and 80s I founded developed and sold a tool hire business, a micro excavator sales company and acquired a dehumidifier manufacturing company.
Any noteworthy accolades that may be relevant to you as an experienced angel investor?
I have sat as the Regional Chairman of the Hire Association of Europe and am currently the European President of the International Special Events Society.
I have also been a School Governor.
What type of angel investments are you looking for on Venture Giant?
I am a very experienced in business particularly the hire industry both start up disposal and acquisition.
I am now interested in helping others develop their business/ideas with my experience and financially.
