What is your interest in investing in the sports and entertainment industry?
My interest in business angel investing can simply be described in 2 objectives:
1. To source, support and develop new business start-ups with a view of making positive returns on my investment at a later date.
2. To provide funding and support for social projects and ventures with the aim of improving the lives of individuals, groups and communities.
What types of Investments are you specifically looking for?
My primary focus will be to source social and community ventures and start-ups, particularly those of a sporting nature which is where my professional background lies.
My secondary focus will be on commercial opportunities within the wider sports and entertainment industries.
Finally, I may consider consumer product-led opportunities also.
What types of investments are you NOT looking for?
I will not consider investments which require a high degree of technological knowledge e.g. aviation, industry etc. I will also not consider ventures relating to the film and arts industries.
